We were privileged,as were all at St.Mary's to have had Marie as a dear and valued friend for many years. She spent her early life always caring for others, her family, those injured during the 2nd. World War and lastly her beloved John.
Thank you to the Gallagher Family and the staff at Ryevale Nursing Home for their care of her over the last seventeen months especially on Monday as she left her earthly home. In Heavenly love abiding.

Deepest sympathy to all of Marie's family and friends. May she rest in peace. RIP.
Rest in peace Marie a quite gentle Lady & lovely neighbor
Marie was a dear friend of our late parents, Eddie and Maura. Before and after Johns passing, she was always to be found in the back of our shop until lunchtime. We affectionately called her Daddy’s girlfriend - she loved that. We spent many happy Christmas’s with Marie at Ardeevin. She thought us so much about the War, her life, her father and mother, and her beloved John.
She enriched all our lives.
May she be resting in peace with John and Thomas in Heaven.
