Just learned yesterday of Mary’s tragic death. She was a lovely warm person and always so friendly when we met. We send our condolences and prayers to her family and friends, RIP

A Gentle Light

She walked with grace, so kind, so true, her heart was gold, her love shone through, with gentle hands and caring ways, she brightened even cloudy days.

Her voice was soft, her laughter sweet, a place where warmth and kindness meet, she gave so much, yet asked so small, a heart so pure, she loved us all.

Though time may pass, her love remains, a light that soothes, a spark that reigns, forever cherished, always near, a gentle soul we hold so dear.

Heartfelt sympathy to all who loved Mary. She was a woman of integrity, enthusiasm, kindness, always so stylish with a great sense of fun. I have great memories of when she used an office in Fermoy during her central roles with AIB. Rest in peace Mary.

What is dying?
'A ship sails and I stand, watching 'til she fades on the horizon and someone says...'she is gone'
Gone where?
Gone from my sight, that is all:
She is just as large as when i saw her.
The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me, not in her and just at that moment when someone says "she is gone"
There are other's watching her coming and voices take up a glad shout... ."Here she comes"!

I was heartbroken to hear of Mary’s passing. Deepest condolences to all the family

I met Mary when we were 11 years old at Stockport Convent. Mary, Jenny Meleady (nee Conway) and myself became close friends. When Mary & her family returned to Athlone she became our pen pal and our friendship spanned the next 53 years. We’ve laughed & cried together, had many holidays together and made lots of happy memories. Mary and I were born on the same day and as she went to work in AIB , I worked for Bank of Ireland in UK. Mary’s last visit to UK was last year and she wanted to visit her childhood areas in Heaton Norris. Such fun we had recalling her memories with her parents and Helen & Patrick. The 3 of us then headed to York for few days. These memories will stay forever in my heart ❤️ An amazing Lady, true friend, wonderful sister and Aunt, she will be sadly missed by many. RIP with your Mum & Dad.
