I met your mam only a handful of times and her humor and strength of character stayed with me. May she rest in peace and I hope shes having a tipple with her neighbours and family up in the heavens.

Nanny, you will be greatly missed by so many! We all loved you so much and you had such an impact on all of our lives. Your humour, stories, advice, and general presence was a huge part of our lives - even across an ocean! I have so many memories of us passing glances and giving the eye when it was needed. I will be sure to teach Maeve well as it is already starting to show. Your lesson of ‘watch the eye Bronagh - it will get you in trouble so only use it when needed’ will be something I teach to her early and often.

To all my family who is grieving this loss, I can only encourage you to share these types of stories with each other as I know there are so many!

I will miss you greatly. From your always well timed life lessons, to a simple story or even being reminded to “feed the dishwasher” there was always a smile on my face after our chats.
