I knew Mrs Melican in Colaiste, she was so lovely and glamorous and always wanting to help us.
I only met her last autumn and she was in great form.

Your Mam was a wonderful teacher and she is the reason I love baking to this day as she made Home Economics class so interesting and the one class you looked forward to go into. I was so shocked to read of Maries death who taught me in Colaiste Muire . Our paths often crossed since then and we always had a chat about how life was going and she always spoke about her family.
