Its very sad when news broke today of this wonderful beautiful woman she was a legend the kindest most beautiful lady god has ever sent down a smile could light up newpark close she had a voice of an angel in fact many yrs ago she won first prize in a comp entertainer of the yr sang good girls gonna go bad the late great jim cantwell rip quipped jayus myles i wonder would she tour the country anyone who ever heard marie sing were stunned by her voice and by god had she some personality one day long time ago in kilkenny cafe marie came in in the most fabulous outfit she allways dressed sensational i asked would she sell the out fit no she said i give you a present of it and burst out laughing well she said do you want it and she was really serious thats the kind of lady she was allways full of life kilkenny is a very sad place now our queen is gone isnt it sad why god takes good decent people up to heaven maybe he wanted marie to sing with the angels she was just amazing when the good lord made marie he made only one she was d best god bless you marie you met your late mom elsie dad seamus your sister too we will never ever see the like of marie donnelly again an angel on earth now an angel in heaven simply d best better than all the rest myles n mary kavanagh an p s thank u for all the happy times you gave us
