I was saddened by the unexpected death of Marie , which I only heard of recently. I knew Marie as a wonderful, enthusiastic , bright student at GMIT. She was always uplifting to meet & greet you. May she be at rest now & may all of you her loved ones be comforted.

Pat, I'm so sorry for your and Lorna's loss. And to Dessie and the Pratt and Ralph family - may she rest in peace.

To dearest Lorna and Pat. My heartfelt condolences on the loss of dear Marie. Marie was a person that came along once in a lifetime. Her infectious laughter. Her beautiful smile, ever the gracious host and her ability to comfort you even when her own heart was breaking 💔 I wanted to thank her, you and Pat for welcoming me into your home and giving me a hearty breakfast and off up the reek. That day was still one of the best days of my life and our many laughs along the way. I wanted to thank her for making me feel that my dear Mother was alive again for just that weekend and for that I will be forever grateful. I will never forget all of her kindness for as long as I live. It is not up to us who stays and who goes but up to the lord himself. It was nice to receive the beautiful card from Marie. One last parting gift. The Robin on the front was a nice touch. So for now know that Mom is happy in the arms of her loved ones. Until we Meet Again. After all we will have an eternity together one day.

Lorna and Pat, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Marie. She was truly someone that welcomed all and made you feel like you were home whenever you were in her presence. Our dearest Pat and Lorna - so very, very sad to have learned of the passing of Marie, a wonderful wife and phenomenal mum. She was an extraordinary woman, a great, kind, caring and loving soul. Her smile and friendliness will be greatly missed. She always went above and beyond to make myself and dad(Seán) feel so very welcome. We will never forget that. It’s hard to understand why God chose to call her so early. We pray that He will help you, watch over you and give you all the strength that you will need to get through this. I am happy to see all the messages that have been posted, it truly shows how loved you guys are and the support that you have.
