Deepest sympathy to John, Gillian and family on the sad loss of your lovely mum & Granny. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace. ❤️🩹
Mrs Sheehy taught me in fifth and sixth class in St Pius X school many years ago. I remember a dedicated teacher who went beyond the standard curriculum to teach new skills and find and nurture hidden talents in all of her pupils - whether cooking, sewing, drama or holding sales of work for children in Africa - while also treating all of her pupils with respect and kindness. May she rest in peace. Condolences to John and his family, and to the Nolan family, at this time.
John, Gillian, Sadhbh, Donnacha, Ronan and all the family, may your wonderful memories help ease your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Shirley & Lewis xx

My sincere condolences to John, Gillian and family on the sad Death of Marie Therese.my condolences also to her extended family.
Marie Therese was my first Bridge partner, we also had great chats, she was a wonderful storyteller, particularly about her time in Africa..More recently when she was on her way to the Eucharistic Congress, in Croke Park, the Nigerian taxi driver she travelled, with, had attended the school where Marie had taught. He insisted on bringing her free of charge right up to the entrance. This was Marie Therese always the open ,friendly person , May her gentle soul rest in peace.

We are so sad to hear about Marie Therese's death. We went in to see her in Cedar House a few months ago and she was in great form. She was a good friend of our mother. They were in Carysfort together, and rekindled their friendship about 18 years ago. Marie Therese was a kind, sweet soul and a link to our own sadly missed mother. We just can't believe she's gone. Our heartfelt condolences to her son John and his family.
We were very sad to hear of Marie Therese's death. We had met a long time ago when visiting Aongus and Ursula in Galway. We have asked Fr Ralph Egan (Mount Argus) to offer a mass for Marie Therese, and to include her in the ongoing masses in the future. May she rest in peace.
