We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences on the death of your beautiful Wife and Mother.

We got to know Marie many years ago through one of our dearest friends Annmarie Scully.

Our memories of the late Jim and Maureen Scully ( Maureen was Jackie's sister) along with Jackie and Marie were of beautiful kind and gentle people. The expression - 'The Salt of the Earth' epitomises all so well. Hence for you Jackie, this is a heart-breaking time for you.

My husband Paul recalls having a drink with Jim and Jackie whilst visiting us in our first house in Loughshinny many years ago. He also remembers so fondly the banter he used to have with Marie when he attended many functions in the Burlington Hotel. She was always so full of life, and so eager to please. She was a lovely warm and fun natured lady.

Sometimes we meet people in our lives that impact us so greatly, that the memories we carry of them, remain as vivid today, as if it was only yesterday.

I hope that the memories that you Jack, and all your family have, will bring you enormous comfort as you try to overcome your loss.

Remember, that Marie will be watching over you all, and protecting you just as she did in this life.

Please be assured that we are thinking of you all, and remembering Marie in our prayers.

To all the Stanley & extended family I'm so sorry we cannot attend your Mam's funeral due to my Mams illness & bad health Parkinsons & my illnesses as well I'm in Chronic Neuropathic pain and Fibromyalgia & Cushings Syndrome. I'm so deeply sorry for all of you for the loss of such a wonderful lady my mother really loved Marie a lot they were great pals who spoke regularly on the phone after they left the Burlington but her Parkinsons stopped her from keeping in constant touch with her friends sadly. We will be watching it online & our sincere condolences & deepest sympathies to you all take care of each other xxx💔😢🕊🙏🏻✝️
