As a young child I attended St Finian's National School. As I was from Clondalkin I knew nobody in the school but quickly became friends with the Dunbars. After school I would play football and any other sports we could think of on an old football pitch on Aylmer road. Mrs Dunbar always welcomed me into their house and made me feel part of the family. These are some of the happiest memories I have of my childhood. I am forever grateful. RIP Mrs Dunbar .
