My deepest condolences to Marie’s family. I worked with Marie in Carroll’s sweet shop in Terenure in the 70’s and have very fond memories of her. She was the kindest person. So sorry to hear of her passing.

We were all very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Marie. There were many happy times shared together, over a long number of years. Marie has been in my life since the day i was born. An amazing dear friend to my Mother Margaret, she has been there for nearly every occasion in our families life. Growing up it was a constant form of excitement when "Auntie Marie" as i have always know her as, was coming to our house to see us! Never arriving empty handed she always came with bagful of presents for all us kids. That was who Marie was. A wonderful, kind, generous, thoughtful and true friend to everyone who knew her. I am heartbroken at her sudden passing and it will leave a huge void to everyone that loves her. All my love and strength to all her family and friends at this devastating time. Marie heaven really has gained a beautiful angel. xxxx
