Sincere sympathy to Caoimhin, Aine, Naoise, Fiachradh and all the Woods and Muldowney familes on the sad loss of Marie, a kind and generous lady and a courageous trailblazer. We always enjoyed the friendly chats at Dublin Food Co-op and the wonderful hospitality in the garden in Terenure at the Summer parites. We're ever mindful and appreciative of the friendliness and support shown by both Paul and Marie towards our 'baby' Colm, now sadly deceased, when he came to work in Dublin as a young barman.

Marie and I go back a long time. When she was waiting to be called for Nursing training in St Vincent's she used to call and chat to my Mum, who was also a Vincent's nurse while I was at College. She was a very kind and generous perso person. Her hospitality and Paul's knew no bounds. She handled her illness so stoically, and never complained. She was so proud of her family....may she rest in the peace she so deserves.
Sincere condolence to Woods and Muldowney families. Marie and I became friends both through Rehabilitation work and the Labour Party in the late 1970’s. She was a committed Labour Party member and very ably Chaired the Labour Women’s Council for a number of years in 1980’s. A great friend and a great human being who never spared herself in her active caring of others. I will miss her friendship, caring and sharing her love of life. Marie was the most loyal and loving and cheerful and committed of friends to my mother Alicia - for many years and in particular in recent years, with weekly visits that meant so much to our family.
What a force of nature, and what a life with her beloved Paul. She will be very missed.

May they both now rest in peace and perpetual power.
