I was so sorry to hear of Rilla's passing, and would like to send my deepest sympathies to Boyd and all the family on their sad loss.

I will remember Rilla as a beautiful, gentle and kind lady, who exuded warmth, creativity and positivity. I was always struck by the genuine interest and care she showed everyone. We have such fond memories of visiting herself and Sean in Kinsale, sharing wonderful chats, cups of tea and plenty of laughs.

May Rilla's gentle soul rest in peace, reunited with Sean.

I am so saddened and heartbroken to hear of the passing of my dear kind and caring friend Rilla. Rilla, I will treasure the memories of our many day trips around West Cork and Kerry with Sean and Inge, the enjoyable times and laughs we had in Wales and at our nights of line dancing . I will forever remember your vibrant personality, your beautiful smile,
the colourful scarves and your amazing hats. I have missed our weekly chats this past year but so glad I got to have a few words with you last Thursday. You will always be in my thoughts and in my prayers. Love always Josie xx

My thoughts are with Boyd, family french family and all Rilla's friends near and far. Rilla was a very colourful warm humourous individual who's eyes would twinkle as her big welcoming sence of fun her smile would always be welcomed at any event she would be present for. My Gran the late Nora Hiçkey was very fond of Rilla as was our family. May she be reunited with Sean and be at peace full of colour and vibrancy amongst the angels. We are so very sad to learn of the passing of our sweet friend and neighbor. Rilla brought so much joy to our family with her gentle spirit, love of music, story telling, and contagious laughter.
