We met Marilyn and the family in Lapland many years ago when we were there with our son Michael. We had some great laughs.

Marilyn was a talented, beautiful person and has left a lasting impression on so many people.

Heartfelt condolences to all of Marilyn's family. We had the pleasure of meeting Marilyn when she did a huge fundraiser for our school, and provided us with our first school bus. The bus opened up so many opportunities for our pupils and we are forever grateful to Marilyn for all her hard work and dedication to our school. May she rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy on the death of your dear mother Marilyn. As I read her obituary, I remembered a beautiful young girl Marilyn Foster in my class in Loreto Commercial College, Cavan in 1975/76. Her beautiful face came to mind and I recognised that beautiful face again that you have on her death notice. I'm so sorry you have lost your mother in death but as I read the condolences, I realise she has suffered greatly and death is a release from her suffering. However her spirit lives on and what a spirit she had in her youth and I've no doubt she retained that spirit throughout her life. Again my deepest sympathy.
