So sorry to hear of Marion's passing - it was always Mrs Deane to her pupils. She displayed a kindness and patience that was much appreciated and made school a more compassionate place. My condolences to Cormac, all the Deanes, her extended family and friends.

A very sophisticated english teacher with so much depth. Hints of a quirky sense of humour that I will never know. So much the better for having known her as a child. All my best wishes to Ciaran and family.
