My heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Louise and Peter and their families on your mum’s passing.
She was a wonderful neighbour to those in Idrone I know, but I lived on Knocklyon Green and would meet her on my walks with my dog or when I called to see her neighbour Bernie, my friend. What a woman! She was so friendly, funny, interesting and yes elegant. A chatterbox. What impressed me most though was just how much she loved, and cared for her two beloved children and how much she talked about them telling everyone how special they were and then her eyes lit up when she spoke about Peter senior RIP. A genuine, irreplaceable woman who will live on in the memories of those who knew her and loved her, or who simply met her out walking. RIP Marion.

Our heartfelt sympathy Louise, Peter, Suzie, James and all the grandchildren on the death of your mum Marion our wonderful next door neighbour for forty years in Idrone. Marion was always willing to help and we didn’t hesitate to knock on her door especially when our girls were young. She was a wonderful mum to you Louise and Peter and made sure you wanted for nothing especially for birthdays and Christmas. We shared many recipes for those occasions, all on scraps of paper, long before we could Google anything! She loved Valentines Day and on one occasion the heart shaped tins went next door for her to bake a cake for Peter. Our family will miss the chats across the wall and especially the great discussions of politics she enjoyed.
Peter and Marion were totally devoted to each other until the end and now happily reunited and continue to share their love for each other. May they rest in eternal peace.

Our sincere condolences to you and your families on the loss of your wonderful mother and so soon after your Dad.
Marion was such a wonderful lady and a great neighbour, always ready for a chat. She was extremely proud of you both and your families. She was very caring and always looked out for our elderly neighbours.

May she rest in peace and be rewarded up above when she joins Peter again.

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your Mum and so soon after the loss of your beautiful Dad. God called your Dad home first, so that he could be waiting for your fabulous Mum, as he looked after her so well in her later life. They were such a lovely couple and I loved to see them coming back from their walk, and as they reached Idrone Park, your Dad would walk in front of your Mum, to guide her and let her have her own wee space. It was just lovely to see the care and love they had for each other. Rest in Peace and be consoled that they are together again.

Marion was the most warm and good-natured lady who always showed a genuine, caring interest in everyone who visited her friendly and open home.

I've great memories of Marion's warm hospitality & chat in Idrone with stories from her youthful travels, when she'd always make sure to remind you how she saw the great Elvis perform live in America.

I am sure you're catching Elvis again now up in heaven Marion.. reunited with Peter, as you watch the show together,  side by side, in the center of the front row.
