When I Leave

Relatives and friends, I am about to leave;

Dear Marianne & Helena,
It was with much sadness that I learned earlier today that your dear mum Mary passed away late last week. I have such fond memories of Mary (and your late dad Tom) from visiting your home at Lusk a few times in the mid-1980s' with my sister Ailish. Some 40 years later, I can still remember their kindness, hospitality, good humor, wonderful conversation, & easy friendship. I am thinking of you at this very sad & harrowing time. My sincere condolences also to Patricia, Michelle, Declan & Patrick (whom I also met in what now seems like a lifetime ago). All my love & kind thoughts & wishes to you at this very difficult time.
