Saddened to hear of Marjorie's passing. Have lovely memories of her from our time working at Shannon Airport and our chats when we met around Shannon Town in later years. Rest in peace Marjorie.

Yesterday, I lost my Aunt Marjorie.

Always my 'favourite' aunt 🙂, and one who I spent a fair bit of time with growing up, Marjorie was the one who pushed me to actually marry Kim Broadworth-Higgins "before I die" (her own words).

Marjorie lived according to her own rules, and surrounded herself with the people and pets she loved. She never married, so I asked her to be my Best Man and shake up traditions. I will always smile when I think about what we did, and am grateful she lived a full life...in spite of her veiled trick that got me married.

Remembrance Day takes on a new, and more special significance for me now and I was lucky to have this woman in my life for 58 years.

Rest in peace, Love❤️
