We are saddened by the news of the passing of Mark and fondly remember when we traveled to Ireland from Canada and visited with you both in 2008. I am honored that you used my portrait taken of him during our visit.
We will always hold in our hearts the joyfulness of that time. My mom and dad could not have chosen a better person to be my Godfather as he was a remarkably warm and loving man and the world was a better place with him in it.
Our many hours on phone calls chatting about our photography endeavors, politics and other worldly situations was always delightful and humorous.
Oceans apart, I only wish that I could have spent more days hearing his voice and laughter. Rest in peace.

Dearest Aunt Mary and Uncle Gerry,
we are with you in spirit and in love, sending deepest condolences and prayers as you grieve and mourn Mark's passing during this unprecedented, unsettling time in our world.
I so loved our time together in Ireland several years ago, as we celebrated Oula's 85th in Dublin, and visited with you in Hoath and in beautiful Tully Cross. Though it was a short visit, the memory of this time is very, very dear to me.
May all of the fond memories bring you consolation, and may dearest Uncle Mark rest in God's Grace and Peace.
Thinking of you, wishing to be nearer.
With love always,
Colleen Maguire, Shane Antle, Conor, Joseph and Dominic Antle

I shall remember him always, and I have a little scar just above my left eye to remind -he shot an arrow at me when he was 10 years old, and I was 7!!

Dearest Aunt Mary (and Uncle Gerry), we are so very sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Mark when I was a boy. I never spent enough time with him, but when we did meet, he was always so kind and fun. Whenever I think of Uncle Mark, I can still vividly hear his infectious laugh! My mother absolutely adored her brothers and we brothers loved our uncles vicariously. He will undoubtedly have a wonderful welcoming committee in heaven. Deepest condolences for your loss. May our Uncle Mark Rest In Peace. Love, Brendan Maguire and family.
