Mark Killilea,a politician in the true sense of the word, a man who had the interests of the ordinary,everyday, hardworking people at heart. He really cared about you,and he did the job at a level of competency and complete satisfaction. My late father had tremendous respect for Senator Killilea, and so it is with deep respect, that I offer my sincere condolences to his wife & family on their recent bereavement. Ar Dheis De.

My sincere condolences to you Anne, and all your family on the sad passing of Mark. I loved meeting you both in Malta in recent years. He had a word for everyone & time for everyone. The Malta gang had our own very poignant 'goodbye' on his last Malta trip in Nov '17.

Mark was so so kind to me when I was in his office in 1995 and the news came through to him that my mother had passed away. He looked after us so kindly.
I was working in the Dept of Foreign Affairs in Brussels at the time.
