MARK O' CONNOR

I was deeply saddened to hear of Mark’s passing. As a fellow Cork Dragon Boat member, I had the privilege of sharing the water with him, and I’ll always remember his team spirit, determination, and the positivity he brought to every session. He was not just a valued teammate, but a true gentleman.

Mark O'Connor was a passionate dragon boater, he was kind, positive, non-judgemental and inspirational, a wonderful human being - I feel very fortunate to have known him. Marks passing will leave a huge void in many people's lives, including mine.

In truth I only met Mark a handful of times but each time I met him it became clearer that he was a decent man and one of life's good guys. We had great chats and a lot in common. I have no doubt he will be sorely missed by all that knew him and I will miss the great chats that we had. Rest easy Mark my friend. May you get the best bed in heaven.

To Tina Dylan and Family so sorry to hear about Mark well my old buddy i have to many happy memories of u with myself and Aidan down the black tar having a few drink and then we would go up to ur mam's kitchen for a few sandwiches no ham or cheese was left we would mangle everything will miss u sitting on the bench out the front garden but look u have a golden one now looking down on all of us laughing i will miss u so much love ya ur Jillian ❤️
