So sad to hear about Mark’s passing , I had the pleasure of drinking many cups of tea with him over the years , we never really sorted out all those problems but at the end of every cup, I felt like we did , he was a gent and always made you feel important if you did business with him or not ! Thanks for the memories Mark.

I can’t believe this has happened, it’s so unfair, so sad. Mark was such a kind, happy, hard working man and friend who always had time for us all. He was so good to me, Orla & Aoibheann. We had great craic in both our houses, holidays, Christmases together and of course on Dublin match days.He was a very special man who touch all our hearts in some way. In the days before mobile phones, we had great craic with him on the old car motorphones, as he worked hard to build his business. So many have said such kind words about Mark or MR T as he was known to all in SOS, that it’s hard to add anything more but I think the turnout today for his funeral (despite COVID restrictions) says it all.

Emer and family, your loss is unfathomable but hopefully a small consolation will be to appreciate how Mark is so well known and highly appreciated across the country and the industry.

A phenomenal human being and I personally am proud he called me one of his friends.

I am so saddened to hear of Marks Passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at MTS Security 1998/99 Mountjoy square. He was such a good hardworking guy. He worked so hard himself and he expected good work back - but he recognized and acknowledged a good days work. He was so thoughtful and I still have the lovely handwritten note he put in my Christmas card.
When I brought my baby into work to show her off he held her in his arms and walked around the office talking and gazing at her. He was just such a lovely person.
