Dear Louise, I'm thinking of you and all of your family at this really sad time. I'll miss Mark's friendly hello and smile as we passed each other on our castle walks. We obviously walked in opposite directions because it was always twice...and I think we both enjoyed that fact.

The news of Mark’s passing on a summers day brought dark clouds to an evening sky - to his beloved wife, children , families and friends. It’s a long time ago since I had a conversation with him when he personalised the energy and enthusiasm of youth and hopes for the future . He carried his success lightly indeed which was the measure of such the gentleman he was. To his broken hearted Louise and children I send my deepest condolences and we in that little church in Kinsealy will remember you all especially in the difficult months ahead . Always a shock when a good person dies, I have fond memories of Mark when I and our sons (Eoin and Gerald) went to a Rugby tournament in Wales 2007, Mark always the gentleman and always caring, fitted well in with his Rugby fraternity, he being the most noblest of them all.
