I only heard of Martha's death last evening at the Mass of Remembrance in St.Pius church . Very sad news. Martha was the first to welcome me to Templeville Drive 46 years ago.

Dear Deirdre, Pauline & David. I have just found out that your mother died last week. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Ellison. She was such a warm and cheerful person. And she baked delicious cakes for us kids when we went over the back wall to play in the little house. My deepest sympathies to you all.

So sorry to hear about your Mum’s recent passing.
Mrs Ellison as I knew her, was always warm, generous, inclusive and kind.

I can only imagine the last few years would have been difficult and sad at times for her, with the loss of Mr Ellison and Martha. I imagine it’s perhaps a comfort to know that at least she is with them up above now.
I know mum (RIP) was especially fond of Mrs Ellison and thought she was such a wonderful neighbour to have on Templeville Drive.
Such good memories of those times….
