Sad to hear of Mona's passing but she is now in the Lord's presence and we trust reunited with Robert. Together they had a profound effect on the Christian scene in Limerick and it was a privilege to work with Robert on the Limerick Christian Bookshop. When we first came to Limerick in 1978 their warm hospitality was much appreciated. She has left a lasting testimony to God's faithfulness to his children.

I just heard that dear Mona passed away. Sincere condolences to you all on her passing. She truly was a beautiful lady. She befriended my Mum when she went into Thorpes and we couldn’t have been happier that Mum had found a friend which helped her immensely to settle in. Rest in eternal peace Mona.

Alison, Paul and your families, we send our sincere sympathy on the passing of your Mum. For you it is a great loss but for her it is a joy to meet her Saviour and friend. Praying you will know much of God's comfort at this sad time. 'Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints'. Ps.116 v 15.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Mona's passing, but we are also comforted in knowing that she has gone peacefully into the arms of the Lord she loved and served so faithfully.
Mona, along with Robert, was a true blessing to Fidelma and I during our early years as Christians. Their kindness, hospitality, and spiritual encouragement made a lasting impact on our lives. The warmth of their home and the fellowship they shared created a space where young believers like us could grow in faith and friendship.
Mona’s legacy of faith, love, and service is a beautiful testimony to the goodness of God, and she will be dearly missed. She and Robert truly were a gift to the Church in Limerick over the years, and their impact continues to bear fruit in many lives.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. May the Lord Himself surround you with His peace and comfort.
