Martha O'Neill

Just as our lives can pass ourselves by, I missed out on your sad news until your talk with Oliver Callan this morning. I grieve for your great loss. "Those were the days of roses, poetry and prose And, Martha, all I had was you, and all you had was me."

I am so shocked & sad to read of Martha's passing.
My sincere condolences to her partner Gary, her sisters Anne & Sinead, her brothers David & Eoin and everyone who knew & loved her.

I'm so shocked and sad to learn of Martha's untimely passing.
Martha was 2 years ahead of me in Rathmines and I also worked with her in the early days of Filmbase and the Irish Film Institute. She always stood out from the crowd as smart, vibrant, brave, and talented but she was also kind, generous with her time, and a mentor to many. She was also blessed with a terrific sense of humour!.
She made a huge impact on the film and television industries and leaves a legacy of wonderful work and a lot of love. A life truly well lived but ended far too soon.
My deepest sympathies to her wife Garry, her siblings and her extended family. May she rest in peace.

I worked with her on the two On Home Ground series and on two Irish language series later . She was always calm , apperared sure in all crisis's and never had a bad word to say. I have great memories of working with Martha, shooting commercials with Littlebird and with Rocket productions. She was so warm and kind and had time to listen to everyone, regardless of how hectic things got. I remember her joy and enthusiasm for life and of course her beautiful smile. May she rest in peace.

I knew Martha back in the Rathmines days. A fantastic person, very confident and assured but always willing to make time to chat with the greenhorn up from the country. A smart lady, wise and with a no-nonsense approach to life. She'd a lovely smile, lit up her whole face.
I'm very sorry to learn that she's passed. She'll be greatly missed. My sympathies to her wife Garry, family and friends.
