Sincere condolences to all Martins relatives and many thanks to all the friends who supported and helped him in his last few years. RIP.

Fair sailing on your last long voyage Martin, lifelong friends since Cadets in ISL 1962 onwards through many companies, a near neighbour of Vera's in Ballinlough, you introduced us in 1968 at a chance meeting in the city. It was sad to see the tough last few years you endured but we will always remember you at your best from the good old days right up to then. So long to the "Big Dad"....

Saddened to hear of Martin's death after his long battle with Parkinsons. We were shipmates as cadets in Irish Shipping in the 60's and remained friends throughout our lives. Fair weather and calm seas on your final voyage "Big Dad". RIP Martin
