The Board of Management would like to extend their sympathies to the Conroy family on the death of Martin. Martin was a loyal and dedicated servant of the school for many years. Those of us who were past pupils of the school when it was in Tower Hill will recall Martin’s kind and friendly demeanour. While schools today have a number of support and ancillary staff Martin was the caretaker, cleaner, gardener, painter and plumber rolled into one. Martin minded the school building as if it was his own and always took great pride in his work.
