Martin was a kind and gentle man and we had the pleasure of his company and listening to his lovely music many a time, he was a gifted musician. May Martin's gentle soul Rest in Peace and the light of heaven shine on him.

Sincere sympathy to Martin’s wife Mary and family on the sad passing of Martin. I had the privilege of having Martin in the orchestra in Ennistymon for many years where he was a brilliant flautist and saxophonist. We had many a laugh reminiscing on musicians we both knew in UCC and the Army band. No doubt he is playing his music in heaven right now with all our ancestors from Kilfenora.

What a shock to hear of Martin's untimely death. We will always remember the shared innocent times with beloved cousins in Knockanedan and Ballyea.
