I am very sorry to hear about Martin’s passing. He was a gentle, civil man. He could play guitar exquisitely, and together, we once won a music competition, in Malin, Martin on guitar, me singing a Scots Gaelic song. A great night for us both. I send my sympathy to all of the Davis Family. We are losing so many of my Marian Park generation. I hope we might get a chance to meet sometime in Donegal. Frank Mc Guinness
Deepest sympathy to Martin's family and friends. A real character, a pleasure to know. May he rest in peace.

Saddened to hear of Martin's passing and my deepest sympathies to all his family and friends. Martin was a fountain of knowledge on the local stories and folklore of Buncrana and so helpful for my previous book on Donegal. RIP Martin
