My sincere and deepest condolences to the entire family of Martin. Martin was an absolute gentleman and a very warm and sincere man. I will always remember his generosity as as young Lt in Athlone in 1989 when I arrived, and entertaining us in the house for Christmas drinks before the officers mess Christmas function. It was a pleasure to serve with him and fondly remember him as one of the best officers I had the pleasure to ever serve with. May he rest in peace.
