It’s with great sadness that we learned of Martin’s death.
Martin was great fun to spend time with in business or in a personal setting. Our adult children met Martin over the years and like Sharon and I were very saddened by his passing at a relatively young age. In reading the condolences it appears Martin was well loved by many family and friends. We now live in the UK and managed to view Martin’s Requiem Mass, which was a lovely ceremony befitting a lovely man. We had hoped our paths would again cross but it wasn’t meant to be. In the messages of condolences we read that Martin had suffered and we hope it wasn’t too much for him and you his family.
Our sincere condolences go to Noreen, Andrew, Emma & Claire and also to Martins broader family including the Minihane family. RIP Martin from Anthony & Sharon & The Haynes family.

We are so sad to hear Martin passed away.Many chats and laughs we had with Martin on Mc Curtain street 30 years ago. Such a positive human being , always so kind and generous to all.Our hearts reach out to his family at this difficult time of his passing. Will be remembered so fondly.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Martin he was such a lovely man god be good to him.
I worked for Martin in macs to midnight back in the 90s and he was so good to me. He was a great worker too a hard working man. Noreen i am deeply sorry for your loss. Also to your family and extended family and friends my deepest condolences to you and all your family.

Always looked forward to seeing Martin. A man who took time to talk no matter what the rush. Had a big interest in the Arts, often offered to help out as best he could. Had a 'way about him' and a smile that will be seriously missed- lit up the street. His legacy is what is left, a lived life, something for us who knew him to build on. A Man Down as Seamus Heaney put it. Laoch ar lar gan dabht.

Condolences to all Martin’s extended family and many friends. Sad to
hear of Mattin’s passing, he was a true entrepreneur and had the courage to roll up his sleeves and try new projects. He was supportive and encouraging to me over the years with my own efforts. My father Loyal had regard for him as did I. RIP

I have some great memories of Martin from his days at the Eccles hotel in Glengarriff and Mac's to Midnight in Mc Curtain Street. He was one of a kind and managed to see the best in everyone - always ready with a quick quip or some bit of craic....! ( Glengarriff and Scotland)

Rest in peace Martin. We have so many memories with Marty that we'll never forget & are so lucky to have - I'll never forget the days he used to chauffeur Claire & myself around in the famous Mustang. He was such a big part of our lives.
