I was deeply saddened to hear of Martin’s passing and want to extend my heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this very difficult time.

As former principal of Bishop Murphy Memorial School, I had the privilege of knowing Martin as both an active parent and a dedicated member of our school community. He was a total gentleman—kind, thoughtful, and always supportive. I have such fond memories of his involvement, from working tirelessly at the Halloween Fair to our chats about Liverpool FC. Martin’s support for the London school tour in 2010, which Paul went on, stands out as yet another example of his enthusiasm.

His calm, balanced approach as a member of our Board of Management made him an invaluable contributor. Martin always acted with fairness and wisdom.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and all who mourn Martin. I hope you can find some comfort in the knowledge that he touched so many lives and will be remembered with great affection and respect.
