MARTIN HIGGINS

It is almost two months later that I am hearing the very sad news of Martin’s passing but I send my most sincere, if belated, condolences to you all, Julie, Paul, Patrick, Kevin and Eoin; siblings and all of his extended family. It is over thirty years since I worked with Martin in Eli Lilly and I have never forgotten what a great boss he was – he was so kind, helpful and pleasant – and such fun to work alongside. I will always have warm memories of him. May he be Resting in eternal Peace.

Dear Mrs. Higgins and Family, I have just heard about Dear Martin’s passing 🙏.
I am so sorry and I would like to offer my condolences and deepest sympathy.
Martin was so very kind to me when I worked with him in purchasing in Eli Lilly. I was very much a junior and Martin was always incredibly kind, helpful and encouraging. He also attended my Dad’s funeral, which was many years after I left Lilly. This meant a lot to our family and me.

It was with sadness that Eleanor and I learned of Martin's passing.
I have fond memories of Martin from school as we started in St Maries of the Isle on the same day and continued in the same class all the way till we finished in Sully'sQuay secondary school.
Martin was a true gentleman.
I met him in later life when he came to live in Douglas ,we had many a long chat when we would meet around Douglas .

We both worked in Lilly with Martin and he was a pure gentleman to have worked with.
He had a great work ethic always willing to help his fellow colleagues he was a real team player.

Martin always kept in regular contact with me after I had to retire early due to illness and was a true friend to me.
We shared a great interest in music. Martin always spoke so fondly of Julie,his four sons and his grandchildren. All of his grandchildren were a source of great pride to him.

We have great memories of Martin. Farewell old friend rest easy now.
