This is so sad. Not sure what to say. We knew each other in our 20's; played football together lots of times at work and then you joined my club. We met in Dublin and kept in touch..listening to your music. You finally ended up doing what you wanted to do. You were a lovely lad.
Sorry I missed your lasg day!

Love, thoughts and prayers go out to Bev and all of the family. Our lasting memory of Martin will be of that snowy Christmas Day in 2004, when Martin joined us for Christmas Dinner. The snow fell deep as we dined in the conservatory making Merry with the wine and the bottle of spirits Martin had brought. We’ll never forget Martin & Richard arm in arm walking up the street at the end of the night, slipping and sliding on the snow and ice, whilst singing their hearts out:). Years later he and Bev made us welcome in Dublin when we spent a wonderful day with them, finding out more about Dublin, than any tour guide could ever have shown us! Happy days indeed. Until we meet again Martin. Much love to you & dear Bev .
I can't just say Goodbye to you, Martin, because you'll always be my friend, my fellow atheist and punk-rocker; a brilliant radio host; DJ and a writer; a true English gentleman, who loved Ireland and made it his home; the loving husband of one of my closest friends... We are very sad and heartbroken, that we won't be able to see you again, but we'll celebrate your life as you would want us to...
R.I.P. Mr Cook. You will be always in our hearts

Aintree trips won’t be the same without you Morra!
Loved listening to his old Rovers stories, his one to one musical education seminars, enjoying a pint of real ale and, as was traditional....watching his smiling face come back from the bookies with a cheeky winner or two. It seemed like he had a winner every year?!!
The 50th at the top of the Guinness tower will live long in the memory.
Til our paths cross again...

Bev, I'm so sorry to hear of Martin's passing. My condolences to you and to Martin's family. Bev, you are one of the most amazing people I've met, and you were so loving and caring to Martin. I'm so sorry for your loss. Ann and I will be praying for you during this time of grief. We know he is in a beautiful place now, but that doesn't lessen the grief and loss at the moment. Love you, Mike and Ann
Our condolences to bev and the rest of martins family. Martin was a one of a kind individual. He made people smile and his union with bev was a wonderful opportunity for us to see how wonderful a couple he and bev made. You will be missed uncle Martin!
Our deepest sympathy and condolences Joe and staff at the Strand
Margaret and myself are heart broken by Martin's passing, I will miss the pints. the pubs, the gigs, the adventures, the stories, the laughs, the banter, but most of all his friendship. We are honoured to have known him as long as we did and honoured that he was our friend. We will hold all the happy memories close to our hearts and treasure them forever. The next time I am at a Manic Street Preachers gig I will raise a glass to you Martin, knowing you are up there with Richey Edwards, having a pint and probably wondering what all the fuss is about. Rest in Peace, our dear dear friend.
Dear Bev
