I have wonderful memories of our times with Martin .....

A youth laden VW Beetle heading for a great day out at the beach, collecting rushes in Farran woods for subsequent Halloween lighting, stargazing and astronomy Ireland, collecting Steve Ovett from Cork Airport for the City Sports, an athlete, a record holder, a wonderful entertainer – accordion, guitar, mouth organ. Christmas night singsongs. Always immaculately dressed. A beautiful garden, the Rose of Sharon. A wonderful neighbour.
