Martin Lynn

I'd known Martin since 2011 and we had become firm friends ever since. The senseless nature of his passing is something that I'm still trying to get my head around. My deepest condolences to his family. You brought a wonderful person into the world, and I don't think we will ever meet another like him. A huge void has been left in our lives. RIP

I knew Martin for a long time through Dublin's rock/metal scene and I have so many nice and funny memories of him to look back on. He was loved by so many.

In recent years we were not as close as we used to be, but it was always great to see him and catch up. I was very fond of him for many reasons and I will really miss him. Rest easy Martin.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news. My deepest condolences to your family and friends, you've all been in my thoughts since I've heard. I knew Martin for a few years in our late teens and early twenties before I moved away and sadly lost touch, I always presumed our paths would cross again and I'll always regret they didn't. I can see from the countless tributes that he remained the loving, kind and caring gent full of jokes and puns that I knew. He was a credit to you all and I hope you find some comfort in that.

I couldn't make the funeral but viewed online, Sharon your words were beautiful and moving. I'll keep Martin in my mind and hope for justice to come quickly.

Im so sad that such an amazing and fun guy was taken away so soon, Martin you left a realy big impact on my life, You were such a very funny guy with a huge heart, you were one of the most real guys I knew. Im very heartbroken over your passing. I wish I could have another drink with you in one of the rock clubs, thats where we met all them years ago, and ever since we kept in contact on facebook and we even added each other on playstation. I feel like we could have been alot closer if we had the chance of meeting up more often. Im really going to miss you man, you always put a smile on my face with your facebook status updates, I always showed my Dad your jokes you always wrote on facebook cause I loved them so much and I loved showing your jokes off to my family, they were so random and hilarious and I got them so much!

I met him in the 2010s through friends and he was really a lovely, funny and welcoming gent. That is clear to see by how many people's lives he's touched too. He is a credit to you all and a terrible loss.

Hi Martin, Sorry what happened to u mate. That was unspeakable.
I may of only met u a few times back in the early 2010's but i remember u as a friendly and welcoming person to meet.
I won't be able to make your funeral tomorrow but i would like to send my condolences to your family and other loved ones. We then stayed friends on facebook from around 2011 onwards after we met and i often liked your posts and likewise u often liked and commented on mine.
Ill miss seeing your posts pop up on facebook, u often made funny posts with silly photoshop images ,lol, and your posts were there nearly on a daily basis and that wont happen no more...
U were a friendly and approachable guy. I last saw u in wetherspoons around June of this year 2023, u were at a table next to mine with a girl in a somewhat deep conversation and i was also with someone but i didn't want to bother u. I should of gone up and said hi, but i didn't and myself and the woman i was with also left shortly there after.
That was the last time i saw u.

I hope u r resting easy buddy.

It was an absolute pleasure to know Martin for as long as I did. Martin was a constant of my weekends for over 10 years & I cannot say enough nice things about him. A very pure soul. Martin was a wonderful man, a true friend, and a legend. He was and still is so loved by everyone whose life he touched. I am in Canada and could not make it home for Martin’s send off. Which I truly wish I was able to attend. Martin will forever be remembered. He was my Martini and I was his Hazey. He will always have a special place in my heart.
