Your father and I are first cousins separated by an ocean but we bonded like brothers since 1960 on my first visit to Ireland. Distance and time were no impediments to our love and respect for each other. My sons, Toby, Sean and Dennis called your dad “uncle” Marty. We all have wonderful, wonderful memories.- albeit our in person contacts were all too short and infrequent (both in Ireland and in the United States).However our bond and love transcended time and space.
We join you in your prayers and love for your father and get great comfort from knowing that Marty is at peace, resting in God’s hands and re-united with your mom and sister.
