I was very saddened to hear to hear that Martin had passed and just wanted to express my sympathy and extend condolences to the family. I worked with Martin at Accuracy/ABB for many years and he was such a gentleman and so witty.
He also played with the band in our pub so a bit of an alternative to the usual rebel songs but Martin as always sovereign so many fond memories.
May he rest in peace,

I remember the first time I met Martin. We would have lunch together. He always had included me in to pub runs. I made nine trips to Dundalk, over the years. Martin played an important role. He always gave his best! Sadly missed

A Connecticut cousin from the U.S. I have pictures of Martin from past Guillion reunions that brother Damian attended. Was looking forward to meeting him in August, as I join the McGuill clan this year for the hike. I send my deepest sympathy to his family…the loss of loved ones is never easy…always to be remembered with a soft smile.

I m very sorry to hear of Martin's death and I offer my sincere sympathy to his beloved wife and family. Martin often came to the Rosary at Ladywell shrine and also to the Rosary st the square on First Saturdays. He was a great example to us all and will be sadly missed. What a huge shock agus sorrow it was to learn of Martin’s passing.
He was a most delightful and irrepressible member of the Mill St McGuills.
A true favourite of Mathair and Matriarch Fanchea McGuill herself.
All of us on this side of the pond remember him with great fondness.

When we first met Martin, he made a joke about getting to know the US cousins so well that made us both laugh and immediately feel at ease. He was just a lovely person who was unfailingly warm and welcoming whenever we met. Although we didn't have the chance to know him well, we will very much miss him at the Guillion reunions. We are very sorry for your loss. We were fortunate to view the Mass online this morning which we thought was very beautiful. It is lovely that he planned the mass himself, and we felt that we even got to know him a little better. It is clear that his faith was very strong and there is no doubt that he will be with you always.

I met Martin through the pro-life movement and enjoyed many chats with him at different events down through the years.
