Martin was a member of our mens shed for many years. He was always willing to lend a hand & Boy did we have some fun too...we will miss you greatly Martin...Tea time with the fry ups were special and they just wont be the same anymore. I hope everything will be up to scratch up Above Martin.

It was with the deepest regret that I heard of the sad parting of Martin & I would like to offer my sincerest sympathies to Paddy, Padraig, Micheal, Joseph, Ciara, & Mary & to his sisters Bridie & Eileen & to all the McHale family at this very sad time.

What great memories I have of Martin over the years. I remember visiting McHales as a youngster & of playing football with him on the Derrockstown road as there was very few cars on the road then. He had a powerful left foot drop-kick & could have played for any of the local teams had he wanted to.

He was also gifted with machinery & was so good when the haymaking season would come around.

May the angels escort him into heaven & May he rest in peace.
