Martin has been a part of my life since I was born. A wonderful man and friend to my parents, I’ll never forget his kindness, good humour and incredible intellect. His passion for uncovering the real William Shakespeare was inspiring. My brothers and I will miss him terribly but are very grateful to have known him. Sending all our love to Anne. Martin, was a lovely man, who I'll remember first as being my teacher at St. Bonaventures School in Forest Gate.

He was chairman of St. Antony's Catholic Club when I first came on the Committee. He said to me one day you'll be Chairman of this Club. He was right.
