Thank you Martin for bringing the Independent Living Movement to Ireland the cornerstone of which is the PA Service. This has transformed the lives of disabled people and society in general. A unique and gifted man, against huge adversity you worked tirelessly for others, we owe you a great debt. It is a lonely place without you Martin. Rest in peace
Deepest sympathy to Chris, family and friends.
Deepest condolences to Martin's family, friends and colleagues. I worked with Martin briefly a number of years ago at the Center for Independent Living, Carmichael House and am sad to hear of his untimely passing.
Martin,
My best friend, my heat is broken to hear of your passing but I know you will be with me forever.
As you sit on the right hand side of God, God will look at you and ask you, "Martin, why?"
"Why do you call your lord God the name "bob?", "because I am Martin". and now your story goes on.
R.I.P. Martin,
My love,
Bob.

Barbara, very sorry to hear about Martin'a sad passing. He was a passionate advocate, committed and hard working. But my main memory of Martin was in my first Leaving Cert English class in St. Mary's all those years ago - and trying to get homework from him!!!!

Tá brón orm nach bhfuil mé in ann bheith i láthair ag a shochraid. Fear íontach ab ea Martin. Bhí árd-mheas ag gach duine air. Thaispeáin sé ceannaireacht agus cairdeas gach lá dá shaol. Suaimhneas dá anam uasal.
Deepest sympathy to the family
