So sorry to hear of Martin's passing. We became friends through the Ard-na-Greine Tennis Club, many years ago. Any time I met him we always had long conversations about the current issues of the day. He was such a gentleman. May he rest in peace.

Je souhaitais adresser un message à la famille de Mr Martin O’Neill . Toutes mes sincères condoléances dans cette épreuve très douloureuse . Je ne le connaissais pas énormément , mais je l’ai vue une fois pour l’anniversaire de la petite Hortense et je garde en mémoire sa gentillesse et sa joie de vivre . Même si c’est très dur , il restera toujours graver dans le cœur et la mémoire de toutes les personnes qui auront fait partie de sa vie et continueras de veiller de tout là haut . Une étoile de plus dans le ciel qui brillera chaque jours et nuit qui passent , pour les gens qu’il a aimé .

Eoghan, j’ai appris avec tristesse le décès de Martin. C’était un homme bienveillant et chaleureux, il nous manquera beaucoup. Je te présente ainsi qu’à ta famille mes condoléances les plus sincères.

I am so sorry and so very sad to hear of the passing of my lovely cousin Máirt O'Neill. I last saw him about 6 years ago when I was visiting Waterford with my family. I remember him when we were children and how much my parents, his Aunty Kitty and Uncle Willie Murray and myself loved to stay with my Aunty Kitty and Uncle Johnny in Waterford. I remember staying with them in Slievekeale Road in Waterford and some very happy times on the beach in Tramore.
To Eoghan, Aurélie, Hortense, Mona, Joseph and Liam I send my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Máirt was such a lovely, gentle man, beloved by all who knew him. Now reunited with his beloved wife Delores and his parents.

We became great friends and neighbours until we all moved out. Met Martin a few times afterwards at underage hurling and more recently in tesco where I work.He was very proud telling me about you Eoghan and your little girl. Rest In Peace Martin.

Worked with Martin for many years in the Waterford Mental Health Services. Used meet Martin at local GAA matches and in local supermarkets where we discussed and sorted a lot. Last Wednesday was our last meeting. Fond memories of our trip to the Heysel Stadium many years ago. Rest in peace Martin.
