Sincere sympathy to Mary, Pauline, Betty and the extended O Callaghan Family on the death of Martin. He was so lucky to have such good neighbours in Anne & Eddy and Michael & Divina. Martin was such a character and he kept his wit and humour through his illness. Martin worked with my father Henry and of course a lot of Monday mornings he never showed up for work and my father would go to the house looking for him. When he got to the door Martin had put an envalope on it saying

Condolences to Mary , Pauline and Betty on the sad passing of your brother and our good friend Martin who suffered a lot the past number of years whilst going through treatment for his illness but he never complained- he still had his witty sense of humour through it all. He was blessed to have two good next door neighbours in Ann and Eddy at one side and Diva and Michael at the other side to look after his needs during his illness. He’s at ease now - God rest him.
