Deepest sympathy on the sad passing of Martin to all of his family, colleagues and friends. Martin was a superb talent, leader and team player with a great sense of humor. He excelled in education, sport and professionally, but most of all he had a deep love for family. He dedicated so much time by cycling to training, along the Mt. Hillary road and playing matches across both hurling and football at all age levels, winning many titles along the way. He played for the club, Duhallow division and also with Cork at underage level. His passion was hurling and he was an artist who graced many a field in any position, at football, he was one of the best defenders you could wish to see. We are very saddened by Martin's loss, his light will always shine in the lives he touched. We will always treasure the positive impact he had on our club. His contribution will be always hugely respected, remembered and never forgotten. His values as a player are those we instill into our younger players. Like on the field, fly high Martin. Thank you for all you did for our club and community. Rest in peace.
