I had the pleasure of meeting Martin at a doula conference in Manchester. Martin was the friendly face that made me feel most welcome. I found connection in his sensitivity, openness and shared ideas. It was the only time we met but I left the conference feeling grateful for his presence, generosity and friendship.

I met Martin originally when he was doing his training to be a Doula at LWDW and then knew him as a member of EOLD UK London branch. I remember him as a kind man who spoke in a poetic language. I wish his family and friends well.
