To Michael’s children I thank you for the love and support you gave him. He adored you and his grandchildren. Martin was a true friend for which I will always be thankful for. Martin loved his life and made the most of every minute.
RIP Martin you deserve nothing less. We had a wee whiskey tonight in your memory from the bottle of Jameson Stout Edition you gave us to take back to New Zealand 🇳🇿. Love 💕 you. Xx

We've lived next door to Martin for the past 18 years. He was the best neighbour anyone could ever wish for. So many days spent chatting outside, forever smiling, up for the banter, never a dull moment, he always had our backs. Every time I walk past his window I expect him to be there and have to stop myself from waving. We feel really lucky to have lived beside him for so long but are heartbroken now that he's gone. Our little Close will never be the same again.

RIP Martin - a true gentleman, charming, funny, witty and kind, with a great sense of humor...a genuinely great guy.
