Martin was really nice and kind to me. I'm so sad he never got to become my proper Uncle when he would have married Aunty Belinda. I'll always remember him, especially when I visit Wexford.

Martin was a gentle soul that has now joined Our Lady the gentle Mother.
He worked in the Morning star hostel ran by the Legion of Mary and will be sorely missed.

I am thankful for the brief time that I got to share with Martin in Dublin and in Columbus. It didn't take long to experience Martin's ever present kindness and generosity. Martin's life was simple and good. His faith, and willingness to always try to do good for others never met with material rewards, but he never lost his desire to help others who needed his generosity, whether it was homeless men, or friends and family hitting rough patches or a customer who needed credit. He always found a way of saying "yes".
