So sorry for your loss,a true gentleman.
Very sad to hear of Martin's death. We worked with him over 20 years ago on the foundation of Ring a Link, the community transport company, of which he was the first chairperson. His work helped to set it on its way to the success it has become. Martin was also the inaugural Chairperson of Kilkenny’s Community & Voluntary Forum: where he represented those valuable organisations very well. The last time we spoke to Martin was at the start of the Ukraine- Russian War, where at his adavnced age, he was still giving- in offering his English language skills to refugees from the Ukraine. He made a real and singular contribution to Kilkenny, that will continue to be appreciated. He will be missed- and may he rest in peace.
Deepest sympathy to Sean, Maria, Liz and the extended family on the passing of Martin. We have very fond memories of Martin in Floodhall and he was always a good loyal neighbour. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. May Martin rest in peace.
So sorry to hear of Martin’s passing; condolences to his whole family & all who cared for him. I spent many happy days with Martin in Jerpoint Abbey and met him and Mary on numerous occasions afterwards. Although we lost contact in later years neither of them were ever far from my mind when passing through Knocktopher. May he Rest In Peace.
Sincere condolences to Martin's family at this sad time.
