Having had the privilege of coming to know Martin over the past number of years all we can say is that he was an great example of how to live a good life: Martin treasured his family and spoke of them with pride and affection always. He was a caring son and brother. At work was very obliging (nothing was ever a bother). He loved helping others and did so in his lovely low-key way. He gave freely of his time and his skills and looked for nothing in return. We never heard Martin judge or criticise anyone. And above all Martin met everyone with a great big smile. He will be hugely missed by all his work colleagues. May he Rest in Peace and may his family have the strength and hope needed to see them through the difficult times ahead.
