Martin you were such a lovely man and part of my life growing up . Got to know a different side as we grew up , the no nonsense attitude about getting on with things and brilliant dry witt and above all very kind and loyal - a strong committed man always willing to help . A brilliant brother , uncle and friend. Will think of you come Cheltenham and Punchestown every March and April and of course this weekend for the Ryder Cup . Sleep tight and look down on us until we meet again . RIP Mark , Lisa , Connor and Nathan .

I played a lot of golf with Martin over the years, some good and some not so good in Kilcock golf club and further afield. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Martin's passing, and I offer my sincere condolences to the extended Tobin family. I played a lot of golf with Martin down through the year's in Kilcock GC and further afield, Martin was a straight talking gentleman with no aires/graces or high notions, he never forgot his roots, what you saw is what you got and he never once attempted to be something he was not.
Martin loved all sports, he'd have the odd flutter on the horse's, but his favourite sport of all was the GAA, he could talk about it all day long, he'd tell you what the score was and who scored in matches 40 yrs ago. He was a proud Galway man and a staunch maroon and white supporter.
Martin it was always a pleasure to be in your knowledgeable company and you will be sadly missed, farewell my friend Rest In Peace 🌹

He was great fun to play golf with and became friends with all in the group. We enjoyed his company and his great wit on the course and beyond.
